Marine Writing

Article Notes:
Since the early 1990s, I have written more than 100 articles on marine matters. Subjects have ranged from boats to boat builders to people to maritime adventures. In addition, I have written many in-depth reviews (summaries actually) of martime books.
My articles have appeared in many Northwest regional boating magazines including Northwest Yachting, 48° North, Pacific Fisherman and others. Several articles have been published in Wooden Boat magazine as well as the British publication, Classic Boat.
Not all of the articles are currently available for on-line viewing. Many of the early 1990s pieces languish on floppy discs (you know, when computers didn't even have built in memory or mouse(s). They will appear here in due time.
All of the articles listed below are COPYRIGHTED and can be republished elsewhere only with my permission. Please contact me by email for copyright release.
I am posting them on this website for viewing by the general public rather than leaving them to ruminate in a carboard box.
